Meet Alex

Founder • Senior Audio Engineer

Alex Gourdikian is the senior audio engineer and the founder of Point Loma Sound.  Alex’s experience developed early on with his deep passion for music. From a young age Alex has played music with friends and family, initially opening up his passion in audio engineering. In high school Alex continued to grow his experience and initially learned to do small scale live productions and post production mixing. In 2018 Alex moved down to San Diego to attend Point Loma Nazarene University.

At PLNU Alex worked for Point Loma’s Worship Arts department, initially developing his skills for houses of worship. Through his career at PLNU Alex worked for five different departments all doing live audio production, and some post production work as well.  Post graduation Alex worked for other production companies in San Diego continued to grow his experience in the professional production industry. Currently, Alex lives in the Point Loma area of San Diego. He enjoys most of his time outside of work listening to music or playing music with his friends.
